WTC Memorial Already Broke and It’s Not Even Open Yet

There’s a lot of scrounging going on as officials try to find the $3 million that’s needed to finish the World Trade Center Memorial in time for the 10th anniversary of the attacks. The site still needs a security fence and other improvements to make it visitor-friendly. Fair enough, but if the city can’t scrape together a few mill for the memorial, it’s frightening to think how they’re going to pony up $60 million a year for the elaborate 9/11 museum.
